Riders will be split into three groups as per a normal trackday but on this event there will be two novice groups and one intermediate / advanced group, thus ensuring that you will always be with riders of a similar ability and bikes of a similar pace. All riders will typically receive seven * 20 minute sessions of riding time.
For those that haven't been before - speed is the buzz word at Snetterton! Here, you’ll find the half-mile Revett Straight – the UK’s longest on any race track. Add a pair of fast sweeping corners, two challenging chicanes, and the exhilarating Bombhole corner, and the picture is complete. Another feature of the circuit is plenty of run-off area at key corners, adding to the safety for you and your bike.
Please note that this is a road bike only trackday and only road going bikes will be allowed to take part in this event. We encourage all participants to ride their bikes to the circuit, anyone using a van or trailer will not be permitted to park behind the pit garages and must move their vehicle to a designated area of the paddock after unloading. The use of tyre warmers is also not permitted during this trackday.
The groups:
Novice - for anyone who has little or no trackday experience. A typical rider in the novice group will have attended between one and three trackdays before. Don't worry if you are a novice, our additional mini-briefings between your on track sessions will ensure you are up to speed in no time at all. Please answer the questions at the next stage of the booking process so that we can group you accordingly.
Intermediate / Advanced - for riders who are familiar with this circuit, have done some trackdays before and feel ready to move up from the novice session. A typical rider in int / adv group will have attended more than three trackdays before and also have been to Snetterton before.
However, if you are really looking to advance your riding skills Level 1 and 2 of the Club MSV Track and Race Academy are also available on this day.
We look forward to seeing you here!
Please note: our Novice sessions are for riders who have attended a maximum of three trackdays before. If you are an experienced rider please do not book into this group as you will not be permitted to take part in this session and we may not be able to change your group on the day.
