The races
Each event consists of a 30 minute practice/qualifying
session, followed by a 45 minute race and practice and qualifying
all take place on one day to reduce overnight costs.
Although this is not endurance racing, the idea behind longer races
is that the responsibility of the car is shared between the
drivers.

 |
Teams of two drivers
The races are designed for teams of two drivers, so that
the costs of running the car can be shared - together with the
excitement! (Although solo entries are also
acceptable). |
 |
Classes
Cars will run in four classes based on power to weight
ratio of the vehicle. The class structure will be as follows but
may be subject to change depending on entries.
|
Class B 151 - 175
bhp/ton
Class C 126 - 150
bhp/ton
Class D 101 - 125
bhp/ton
Class E up to 100
bhp/ton |
Regulations
The regulations for the series are reasonably relaxed, so
that most cars that have already been developed for trackdays will
be eligible.
- Meet the basic MSA standards for safety (check out our Guide to
MSA Scrutineering Requirements)
- No more than 175 bhp per ton
- Minimum weight of 600kg (post race and with driver)
- Slick tyres are not permitted
- Turbo cars must be fitted with a restrictor plate as per the
MSA Rally Car regulations. This is to ensure boost
consistency throughout the race
